I'm Elias Rubin Peterson, a dedicated engineer, consultant, and founder of EliasRP Consulting as well as Northshore Services. I help companies and innovators turn technical ideas into real-world solutions using practical engineering insight, thoughtful design, and hands-on development support.

I have deep experience in mechanical engineering, medical device R&D, design verification & validation, and product development, working across multidisciplinary teams to solve complex problems and bring products from concept to reality. I thrive on technical challenges and delivering results that exceed expectations, whether in prototype testing, regulatory compliance, or optimized mechanical concepts.

A core part of Northshore Services is a strong passion for sailing and extensive time at sea, including a circumnavigation on a 41-foot sailing boat. Living and working aboard for extended periods has shaped a practical approach to engineering: systems must be robust, easy to maintain, and capable of performing reliably far from support. These principles are embedded in every solution delivered.
